Rachel Weisz happy to appear nude

Rachel Weisz "never thought of using a double" for nude scenes in her latest film.

The Oscar winning actress, who plays Greek philosopher and astronomer Hypatia in 'Agora', prepared for her naked scenes by avoiding junk food.

When asked if she used a body double, Rachelsaid at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of the movie: "Absolutely not. It was all me, never even thought of using a double.

"Although I was thinking about baby fat - but I think most of it had gone by the time I went before the cameras."

Rachel - who has a two-year-old son Henry with fiance, director Darren Aronofsky - also revealed she does yoga to help her keep trim and supple.

In 'Agora', the English actress emerges from a bath while a young slave, played by Max Minghella, attends to her with a towel.

A love triangle forms between Hypatia, her slave and one of her students - played by Oscar Issac - although Rachel says the relationship is not sexual.

She added: "As far as we know she famously never had sex, she died a virgin. But I thought she'd get at least one kiss."

'Agora' is scheduled for release in December.
